Waters Edge Lodging & Resort is nestled in the National Forest between Ludington & Manistee with 550 feet of water frontage on peaceful, Maple Lake.

Let our 6 clean & comfortable cabins whisk you away to the 1950’s while maintaining modern amenities appreciated by today’s vacationers. We offer 1-3 bedroom cabins and a main house with 3 bdrms. & 2 baths with spectacular views of Maple Lake. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, bath, linens and towels, fire pit, BBQ grill, picnic table & outdoor chairs.

Fish for bluegill or bass in Maple Lake or trout, salmon and steelhead in nearby Big and Little Manistee Rivers and Tippy Dam. In the Fall, the advantages of the Manistee National Forest are unlimited to the enthusiastic outdoorsman. There is a playgound, basketball area, fish cleaning station and deer pole. We offer rowboats and paddle boats to our guests free of charge.

 

Step inside our 1950’s knotty pine “Whitetail Lodge” and feel the warmth and history come alive again. The lodge has a media area, fully equipped kitchen, restroom and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy. It is the perfect place to gather, play shuffleboard, cards, watch TV, or work on one of our vintage puzzles.

 

 
Our lake is great for swimming and fishing. Sometimes you can catch your own supper! Other popular activities around the resort are:

Directions

From M-55 - Turn South on Bosschem Rd. in Wellston and follow the signs.

From M-37 - Turn west onto 10 Mi Rd. (follow around to 10 1/2 Mi. Rd.) Proceed on 10 1/2 mile, 3 miles west of Irons, to Bass Lk. Rd.
Turn right at K&K Grocery. Follow around to 11 Mile Rd. We are located just off 11 Mile.
